Barnes Foundation Awarded NPS Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Grant

National Underground Railroad Network to FreedomWe are pleased and excited to announce our first national grant award!

The National Park Service Underground Railroad Network to Freedom program has accepted our application for a $10,000 matching grant to repair the cornices around the mansion roof.

cornicesThis grant will enable us to take the first step in actually repairing and restoring the roof of the Barnes Hiscock Mansion. Monies received from generous donors along with some cash from our general funds will make up the matching $10,000.
