Barnes Foundation announces first Executive Director

The George & Rebecca Barnes Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce our first Executive Director, Kristen Earle. Her new post officially begins on August 11, but she’s already getting a head start by taking charge of one of our major upcoming events.

Kristin is a Syracuse native. She graduated from Chittenango High School and Cazenovia College, where she received her B.A. in communications with a concentration in event coordination.

Kristen spent 3½ years as the Director of Resource Development for Syracuse Habitat for Humanity where she created new partnerships and raised significant capital for the advancement of their mission. She then was recruited to work for CNY Central as an account executive, where she worked with business owners to help aid their marketing plans.

Kristin is elated about her new role as Executive Director of the George and Rebecca Barnes Foundation and is looking forward to helping the organization soar to new heights.

Kristen begins her job officially August 11, however, she has stepped in as a volunteer to chair the Tour de Champagne Event and will be seen at the mansion during the next two weeks getting acclimated to the new job. If you see Kristen, we hope you’ll join us in welcoming her aboard!
